I got a question, after the meiji restoration, what happened to the tokugawa house?

They and their retainers returned their land and property to the Emperor. Keiki
retired to Sumpu, Shizuoka as did Iyeyasu. There are several Tokugawa families still
around. Don't know much about them. Lots of Tokugawa family stuff in the museums
hereabouts.
