Hi all, does anyone know of a samurai family from the mid 1700's from I suspect Bitchu province by the name of Hiramatsu.
This is taken from the Haynes Indexes and they are referred to as the Bitchu Hiramatsu family.
Cheers

Papinot has a listing for Hiramatsu: "A kuge family descended from the Taira - The head is now Viscount." [now meaning 1910]
Nothing in the Biographical Dictionary of Japanese History or Kodansha Encyclopedia.
I'll keep looking ...
