sword styles

by MNcoffey@frontiernet.net

I was hoping for the people in this group to tell me about what sword
style they practice, stuff like history, technique, and what would
really be nice is pictures of yourself or somebody doing stances or
techniques or something. I practice basic stuff but I also practice
Niten Ichi Ryu. Hopefully somebody will tell me about the style they
practice. Thanks.-Martin Jr.

I practice Yamauchi-ha Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaijutsu. Complete
explanation about this art and some pictures can be found on my website

This is a better question for a martial arts/kendo
forum. Please keep within the "history" framework.
Discussing the origins of certain sword styles, or
their use by historical figures is fine; this is not
the place, however, for pictures of individual members
showing off their techniques and discussing their
particular martial arts training. Please take that to
the many martial arts/kendo/kenjutsu/nihonto forums
that exist.

Thanks,

The Mgmt.

Hello,
I studied Araki ryu iaido in Himeji, Japan for several years. That was in 1983. Since that time, I have returned many times to Japan to continue my training with Toyoda sensei (8th dan). Please take a look at our web page:

Robert, this is nice and all, but this is not a
kenjutsu or martial arts list. Please keep that in
mind, and welcome to the discussion.
