hey,
Maybe the book "Samurai Armies 1550-1615" by Stephen Turnbull will help. It's about $12. Anthony J. Bryant and Stephen Turnbull both have great books on Samurai & pretty much everything else about them from battles to armour. Hope that helps you out.

Hi

you could start with two books that are not too
expensive

Nagashino 1575 - S Turnbull
Sekigahara 1600 - A Bryant.

Both are excellent description of the battles with
maps and plans of the areas and formations used by the
armies involved.
