Guys, This bum has sent me pictures, paper work, all kinds of documentation
and etc. now, I asked him to send the sword for inspection, now the game
gets bad. He tells me he needs money to send the sword for inspection, Now
this jamoke starts trying to bargain with this old country Mick... Bad plan.

i would ask for some type of legally binding document that can be traced to him.what makes him sure that the blade is authentic?has it been appraised?ask more info.

If the item is as he said, I would probably do the same thing. It would
keep it from being a total lost if it was sent to someone who did not
return it. Over the internet you do not know who you are dealing with.

Of course, the important word is IF.

The person in question is known on the sword lists as a scammer, do
not send him your money, save it until that day when you can look the
sword and the seller in the eye...
