Samurai Fiction Contest 2005 UPDATE

by kitsuno

I have clarified the rules a bit:
http://www.samurai-archives.com/writcon.html

There are 12 days left to enter the contest (deadline 3/17/05), and
3 more weeks to complete the fiction submissions (deadline 4/1/05).
I am considering pushing up the entrance deadline a bit, but for the
moment, it is set at 3/17/05.

The current prize is $36, as of 3/5/05.

Thanks

Hi:
I have a question. It states in the specs of the contest that the short story can exceed 3,000 words but I would like to know just how much can it exceed?

Thanks,
Rod

Use your best judgement for what fits your story, while targeting
the vicinity of 3,000. I will make sure that the judges don't count
beans for 5 days while making a decision.

Thanks!
