Traditionally there were some swords with bad spirits that like to kill.
One Shadow Warriors? episode had a sword that made its possesor start
killing people. The precious indeed!

It makes a great chanbara stchick but a legal defense... "Your honor the
sword told me to kill him!" "Bwaaahahaha......". Kind of like an old
Dead Kennedy's song, "God told me to skin you alive..."
