Riding without hands is called "Yabusame", seen twice a year at the
Kamakura Hachimangu and at other shrines as well...

Hi

I thought Yabusame was mounted archery, and not a term
specific to riding with out hands

Apologies Paul,
I was being flippant, and put my Yabusame in quotes. It is mounted
archery, necessarily they must ride with no hands...

Hi Tom

no worries. thought it was simple mistake. especially
as some are taking no notice of the correct genuine
information being passed to them.

anyway there is nothing wrong riding with no hands -
buts another story (ooh errr)
