New Zatoichi

For Chambara fans -

Takeshi Kitano has made a new movie of an old subject - Zatoichi.

The film was previewed at the Venice Film festival, and won a
standing ovation and four awards. You can view a trailer here:

I have several of the original Zatoichi movies, they
are excellent, I hope this one will be as good

I'm really looking forward to this. Of course, I somehow find the thought of a
Takashi Miike version of Zatoichi even more compelling. =)
