Uniforms

Hey, I was wondering does anyone know how to make a Shinsengumi
uniform? I don't want to buy one, I want to try to make one (or four)
for that skit I'm trying to put together.
If anyone can tell me where I could get, or how I can make a pattern
for the uniform (or a pattern for gi and hakama) that would be very
helpful. Heck, I need to learn how to tie hakama!

I actually have a book that has a haori pattern in it. I got it
through Crafter's Choice book club, but Amazon probably has it.
