This is a a near-pristine copy of the Takeda clan's "Koyo Gunkan" a comprehensive history of the Takeda clan of 16th century Japan and manual of war and philosophy. Each chapter includes first the original archaic Japanese text followed by a modern Japanese translation, and a comprehensive introduction gives details on the history of the Takeda clan, clan genealogy, and a history of the circumstances of the Koyo Gunkan. The book is hardcover in excellent condition, and comes with a hardcover case which is in great condition with a little shelf wear.
