In English for Tokugawa Ieyasu there are two biographies by A. L Sadler
(very old but worth reading) and Conrad Totman (newer but shorter). For
Uesugi Kenshin, Takeda Shingen, as well as II Naomasa Daisho publishing had
some short booklets(about 30 to 40 pages), In Japanese there are enought
books to pave an airport runway. I would suggest the Rekishi Gunzo series,
the latest is on Akechi Mitsuhide.
