Try "Arms and Armour of the Samurai" by Ian Bottomley
and Anthony Hopson. Also, check out The Samurai
Sourcebook by Stephen Turnbull. Both have excellently
detailed information--"Arms" mainly about the weapons,
and Turnbull about the development and how they were
used.
