Dear Francisco:

There is a website at this link that may be helpful to you. It is from Dan
and Jackie DeProspero's dojo in Apex, North Carolina. Both extremely
proficient in kyudo and qualified instructors. The catalogue may help you
with equipment selection, terminology, philosophy and the book they
co-authored is filled with information.
Kyudo is a wonderful way to study the samurai's ancient form of archery in a
spiritual aspect.
Good luck.

Hey Francisco. Do a search on "Daito Ryu". Your email wasn't very clear to
me, but if I decyphered it correctly, that's what you're looking for. Daito
ryu is the original art that became Aikido.
The art originally belonged to the Fujiwara family as a form of Sumo.
It was later altered by Minamoto Yoshimitsu and Minamoto Yoshiie to include
certain joint locks, pressue points, etc, as discovered by their seemingly
sadistic interests in human anatomy during the aftermath of battle, and
likely also through verbal transmission by other high ranking members of
other clans that might have been friendly to the Minamoto family, though
that is only speculation on my part.
The son of Minamoto Yoshimitsu is believed to have moved to the province of
Kai, taking on the name Takeda.
The Daito Ryu art has been transmitted by the Takeda family from that time
until our most recent century when Takeda Sokaku charged his son to give the
art to the world to preserve it.
One student of Sokaku by the name of Oueshiba (spelling? Sorry folks),
inclined towards the spiritual aspects of martial arts, softened the
original battlefield art into a 20th century version of self defense that
only broke bones instead outright killing people.
Real soft.
But do your search on "Daito Ryu". You might find what you're looking for.

Alex
