Samurai Fiction 2006 Results

by kitsuno

Here are the results of the judging for the 2006 Samurai Fiction contest:

Fist Place:

Gaki, by Jesse Workman (Genre: Ghost Story)

Runner up, and winner of the Riccardo Tacchini Memorial Award -
Sponsored by Carlo "Tsubame" Tacchini in memory of his brother:

The Faithful, by Nina Boal (Genre: Historical Fiction)

Honorable Mention:

Massugu, by Andy Lowe (Genre: Pulp Fiction)

There was a lot of debate over these three, and there wasn't really a
clear cut winner until the very end.

All of the entries will be temporarily housed here until I can created
a new webpage:

http://www.samurai-archives.com/sfic06/samfic06.html

And for anyone interested in next year's contest, stay tuned for updates!

Thanks!

Very interesting stories. I look forward to next year's contest.

By the way, I know that I had a few mis-spellings and typos in my story,
"The Faithful." Would it be all right to submit an edited version (I
won't change the story itself) for posting on the site?

Thanks, Nina Boal

Sure, a couple other authors also want to re-edit thier stories as
well for the site. No problem.
