I havent seen the drama yet, but I heard it was rather good. However, if you are looking for historical information on the Shinsengumi... You should read Shinesengumi: The Shongun's Last Samurai Corps by Romulus Hillsborough. I couldnt put it down. Hillsborough has written at least three fantastic samurai-related books.

arrived yet. I am wondering if anyone here has seen this drama, then I need
their opinion about this drama particularly about the historical events in
this drama, are they accurate enough or not? as it's said that the drama
depicts the historical events during the Tokugawa era started from 1854 -
1869.
P.S. I am an Indonesian and never went to collage, I studied English by my
self so please don't be too harsh about my spelling and grammar. :-)
Thanks.
