Does anyone know which family name this kamon is from

like to be able to tell my Sensei the name

The leaves are Kashiwa (oak). I do not know the family name. Sorry. But try a search on "kamon" and you should be able to find a family name. Be aware that there might be several family names for the same mon.

Tsunoda Bunei lists in Kamon Kakei Jiten about 42 family names for 3
variations on kashiwa leaves.
