Museums

by g3mneye

Hey there everybody:
Quick question about musuems in Japan. I don't know if this question
qualifies but I was wondering if there are any museums in Japan that
specialize in western culture dealing with art and so forth.
I looked through the internet but came up dry. Just wondering if
anybody knew.
Thanks

Yes there are many. They have a museum of western art at Ueno as well as a
regular art museum that has many western items as well. If there is a
western art exhibition on tour, it almost certainly makes a stop in Tokyo.

Quite a few, actually. Plenty of modern art museums,
etc. Hakone has an open air sculpture museum, with
sections of Picasso. Yokohama has several, Tokyo also.
