the tales of vampires and shapeshifters are found all over the world.
no culture on record has been known to be exempt from this. since
humans have been writing things down there seem to be tales of
vampires and shape shifters. if i remember correctly the japanese
vampire was a shadowed woman who flew around at night drinking the
blood from children as they slept.
