Siren to release 'The Samurai' series 4

2005.01.31 - Aussie distributor Siren Visual Entertainment has
announced plans to release series four of The Samurai (1962-1965), a
popular television program produced in Japan that aired in Australia
with English dubbing back in the '60s.

The Samurai followed the 18th-century exploits of Shintaro (Koichi
Ose), a master swordsman and his faithful sidekick Tombei "The Mist"
(Fuyukichi Maki) - an Iga ninja - who together battled enemies of
the shogun and the Koga ninjas.

This four-disc box set arrives on DVD in Australia on March 21st,
2005. Series five is planned for release in June.

Siren is also Australia's official distributor of the remastered
Shaw Brothers classics, the first to be released with their original
