looking for samurai in japanese text

i am new here and have been interested in the samurai culture for
some time, but my interest has been fulled more after seeing the
last samurai. after seeing how hollywood portrayed the disapline and
honer of the samurai i want to learn more. if any of you have advice
on any good books to read where i can read about there theory and
culture i would be thankful. one more thing could anyone help me
find SAMURAI in japanese text? the symbol i have never seen and can
not read japanese but if you could help would be great. thank you
again.

The character right next to 'Samurai Archives' is 'samurai':

It was also the character the Tom Cruise was writing in the movie
(or someone was, can't remember who)

You should look try reading the "Hagakure". It is probably something that
will help you out in your quest for samurai knowledge.

I would hesitate to recommend the Hagakure for anything other than a study of
Bushido. You aren't likely to find much in the way of "samurai" knowledge.
