Help Wanted

by mahamayuri

Greetings All

It is embarassing to ask...
But Next Week I will need to do a important phone call from my country
(Brazil)
to Japan and ask there the official email addy of the company.

Problem!!!

My japanese skills is a little err... *blushes* unnupdated!
My grandmama taunt me only Classical and Court language
and all I can garantee is an very educated conversation.
However expressions related to "these modern things" (konna atarashiina
mono)
is unknow to me.

How to say "email address" in japanese
and how they spell the character "@"???

Of Course it is not included in my Kenkyusha New Collegial Japanese -
English Dictionary
nor my japanese - portuguese ones.

Sorry for the inconvenience

email address can be called email address in Japanese too, following their
love of 'katakana'izing foreign words, or email jusho will do fine.

The @ sign is called ’At mark' in 日本語

One more thing 'V' is pronounced voo-ee. Its very hard for then to
distinguish B and V.
