Konnichi wa

Gassho everyone, my name is Ezequiel, I'm from argentina and I am an
Aikido student. I love japanese history (specialli the martial part). I can
not found articles about the Ikko Ikki (the famous buddhist-shinto
warriors), I read a little bit only of them, but i still want more!!, it's
very exciting the way they fought against major numbers, but they always won
(exept with Oda Nobunaga). I also like Ninjas' history, and one of this days
i'm going to write an article about them.

For the record, Shinto has *nothing* to do with the Ikkô-shu. It's entirely
Buddhist.

Hi Ezekiel,

The book you might want to check out is:
"IKKI," by James white, Cornell University 1995
Unfortunately, it's not so easy to find, and quite pricey.

Alternatively, there is a very good article ("Ikki in late medieval
Japan") in:
"MEDIEVAL JAPAN," edited by Hall and Mass, Standford, 1974
This is usually readily available, and should not cost more than $20.-.
The other essays in this book are quite good too.
