Takeda Shingen's 24 Generals DESKTOP WALLPAPER

I've just uploaded a desktop wallpaper in the files section of this
group - it is a listing of Takeda Shingen's 24 generals in Japanese:

It is a variation of the '24 generals' T-shirt available on the
Samurai Archives Store website (basically it is just minus the
English translation.)

If the calligraphy were only a little less "over the top"....

You should see the other choices for Japanese fonts I have on my
computer... "Madam" and "Bubbles" don't quite fit my image of a
Takeda general ;)

Hey, all.
Back from lurking in the Netherrealm. But only briefly. Can anyone
recommend a place to find a listing of Shingen's famous XXIV? I can't remember
seeing a complete listing of it anywhere, but I could just be being a
nodcock. Is there one at samurai-archives.com? Just wondering. Thanx, y'all. Back

Well, all 24 are on that wallpaper, without the English, though. You can take a look at the pic on the T-shirt at the Samurai Archives Store - http://www.cafeshops.com/samurai-archives - although I could only fit the first names, and not the full names.

Question again: Is it just me or are there only twenty-three generals
listed on the 24 generals shirt or is Takeda Shingen himself considered one of
the famous XXIV? (In other words, is it twenty four including or in addition
to Shingen?) Thanx. :-D

Okay, all done -- I've updated it, and now it has all 24 names in
English to match the Japanese.
