Sekigahara Battle

I get conflicting dates as to when this happened.
Was it on October 21st, 1600 or September 15 1600?

Both.

It was on the 15th day of the Ninth Lunar Month, a date which, in 1600, corresponded to
Oct. 21.

My concept was that the battle of Sekigahara happened
on October 21st, 1600 and not September 15th, 1600,
other events happened, like the Dutch ship sailing
into Japanese land.

Well, that's the point.

It *was* October 21. It was, though, also 9/15. Lunar calendar vs. Solar calendar.
