my name is Zoltán Géczi. Unfortunatelly I don't have any significant
information on this question. If I could help you, I would - I used to paint
figures for long years, and I know those figure which you are busy with.
Great stuff, so do it nice. Please, let me tell you something, just an
advise: do not overdo the figure, keep it simple and elegant. Most painters
like to overcolor the samurai figures.

PS.: Did anyone see the movie Saulabi? The story plays cca. 1050, and all
the japanese warriors fight with "standard" katana swords. I really don't
know if it is okay or not: katana became a general weapon of the samurais
only in the Kamamura-period, I assume. Any opinion on this? I guess they had
to fight with tachis.
