A trick question?

No one, since there was no Emperor Yoshimitsu... (Unless he failed *do*
badly that his name was stricken from the rolls and another emperor's reign
put over his. )

Yoshimtsu...Ashikaga Yoshimitsu?
He is the 3rd Muromachi Shogun, not emperor.

But it is said that he apparently had intention to take over the
throne. In fact the Chinese emperor called Yoshimitsu Nihon Kokuo (the
King of Japan).he called himself so after that.

Anyway I am afraid I can't figure out what you mean by the question.

Cheers

To Mr MacTaggart
There simply was no emperor Yoshimitsu . Are you
perhaps thinking of shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu
(1358-1408, reigned 1368-94), who started construction
of the famous Kinkakuji in Kyoto, reestablished links
with (Ming)China and suppressed the Ouchi family
during the Oe rebellion (1399-1400)?
