Can anyone help me about this?

by saber_kingofheroes_shirou

I'm currently doing a research about the Sengoku period. I need some more information about this

- It is said that in 1528, Ouchi Yoshiaki made Mori Motonari become his vassal before he passed away. How did Yoshiaki did that? Was it because the Mori too weak at that time?

I'm looking forward to seeing your answers. Thank you in advance!

Wow that is a good question. I am like the masses and spend most of my studying on the 3 unifiers

I have a basic question: what sort of food would samurai generally have carried with them on campaign during the Onin time period?

Thanks!

The standard diet probably did not change well until after WW2. Rice balls, dried fish etc. Ashigaru would for a "mess" and cook the food in one of the "war hats". Perry makes some figures carrying rice balls. The strange sausage looking thing that goes behind the neck, hangs down both sides and ties in the back. Each ball is either a day or a meal don't know which one. One of the Osprey books touch on rations

oh thanks anyway.

I'm a fan of Shingen and Kagetora but recently I just started to fell in love with the Mori and her rivals. Just need some more information to provide on my paper. that would be cool.

beside, did anyone read the biography of Motonari on s-a? it's said:

"Akihisa's army fell back, and in a desperate rear-guard action his trusted general Uyama Hisakane was killed."

that was 1540-1541 but I just looked for that Hisakane guy on both s-a and wiki and he died in 1566! The writer must be wrong somehow haha.
