Anyone know this film?

Have any of you heard of this film "Bakumatsu Bishonenroku: Aizu No
Kesshittai" (Aizu' Suicide Corps: Boys in the last days of the Bakuku)?

It's about the Byakkotai.

I ~think~ this is the film some of the ladies at 3-hajime.com were
discussing. If it is the same exact film then Yamaguchi Jiro/Saitou
Hajime is actually in this film. Where are you getting this info?

*Grin* Actually somene sent me an email asking if I'd heard of it and
if it was available on dvd or anything.

On a semi-related note---I just saw a commercial on the IFC channel
that Zatoichi --the Blind Swordsman movie with Takashi Kitano is coming
out in theaters this summer! And it looks mighty darn good.

The Zatoichi film also stars Tadanobu Asano of Gohatto and Gojoe
fame.
