Since Yamanami Keisuke died under very tragic circumstances (as well
as Kondou---but he was just buried right?) I wonder if his funeral is
like a "typical" funeral...as I understand it the body is cremated,
bones collected by relatives and then interred in the graves.
I finally found out the need for Buddhist posthumous names "kaimyo"
(from memory could be wrong)...it's to prevent the spirit from
returning if surviving families mention the names in
conversations...interesting!
