or you can go to youtube and just type in Rurouni Kenshin live action to see the different trailers. There's like 7 POV trailers for all the main characters of the movie. I also found this other behind the scenes clip:

Thanks, Bunneh, yours was the only thing that worked. I clicked on everything clickable under the poster and nothing ever started playing. All it looked like was a 3-page article that I couldn't read. Gosh I hate being illiterate! I do like the poster, though.

Barb, of all interesting things! I tried this several times at home and saw only the poster thing and the article, but I tried it at work today (on break, of course!) and this computer doesn't recognize any of the Japanese characters, but the video block came up and played just fine. I must be missing a program to play it on at home, so it was never recognized. Pretty darned cool - I'm liking the guy playing Saito.

Hello hello, 

I thought I would share the news, although some of you may already know. 

NHK's 2013 taiga (historical) drama, 'Yae no Sakura' will be about the inimitable Yamamoto Yae, one of the most famous women of Aizu. And as we know, a big part of her story is the War of Aizu, when Takagi Tokio cut her hair for her before the battle. It seems that Tokio will be featured in the series as Yae's good friend, and she will be played by Kanjiya Shihori (I think she's a good pick for the role, in my humble opinion). Saitou Hajime will also make an appearance, and he will be played by Furuya Kenji who is a member of the band Dragon Ash (not quite sure of that pick, I prefer Eguchi Yosuke who will play Saitou in the live action RK movie). There's quite a bit of buzz among the Japanese SaitouxTokio fans out there. 

I've been waiting for the longest time for any kind of medium that would feature my favorite couple, so I'm absolutely psyched. In the meantime, I'm finally getting around to finishing my own fanfic of the pair, and in the process of writing up Chapter 30, The Battle of Aizu.

NHK originally planned to air a different historical drama but after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster of 2011, they decided that they should focus on the history of the Fukushima (formerly Aizu) region.
