Mibugishiden director wins Oscar

Mibugishiden (Mibu gishi den 2003) or "When the Last Sword is Drawn"
director Yojiro Takita won an Oscar at the 81st Academy Awards last
night for his film DEPARTURES which deals with death, the taboo of
death and life and other complex stuff.

I still wish there was an interview, in English, of Jiro Asada
concerning the writing of the novel.

Huwaa.. omedetou gozaimasu !!
he he he.. I dont watch Departures yet, but I do really like Mibu gishi den !!
Sad story....!! T_T
