Aku Soku Zan?

by tatchan1024

Hi Hi,

I'm sure most if not all of us are familiar with the expression "Aku
Soku Zan." My question is: historically, it was used by more than just
Saitou Hajime, correct? Who else was it used by?

It is from comic book "Rurouni Kenshin", isn't it?
I don't think it's a historical fact.

My memory is always rather groggy, but I do believe I had read somewhere that the whole Aku Soku Zen was more of inside thing for the men of the Shinsengumi. Kinnda like you and your friends have your own inside jokes and things that only you guys would understand. I don't believe it was a propoganda tool... although, at that time, it really would have made a great propoganda line.

Hi,
If you really have seen the word on any historical records, will you post
the source on this forum?

I am Japanese and have read lots of Shinsengumi books but never seen such a
word.

Thanks
shikisoku
