Okita's Grave (Specifics)

by secretarytocapt3

Please see the bottom of
http://www.shinsengumihq.com/OkitaSoujiro.htm
so people who visit Tokyo can find the exact location (^_^)

----------------------------------------------
How does someone who doesn't know Japanese wade through probably
dozens of Okita fansites and find a specific piece of info?

go to
http://www.shinsengumihq.com/ShinsengumiNames.htm
highlight, copy and paste his Japanese name onto http://www.google.co.jp

to find details on just his burial open a new window with
http://www.nifty.com/globalgate
have it translate the word "temple" (because most people are buried at
temples) into Japanese...stick that word next to Okita's name in
Japanese and then do a search
then you get this site
http://jin3.jp/otera/otera-top.htm

it mentions "Azabu mountain Zenpuku-ji"
and "Okita" "new selection group"
and fortunately another famous person FUKUZAWA YUKICHI and AMERICAN
LEGATION---I used all these terms and found:

Zempukuji Temple

notice the different spelling of Zenpuku-ji and Zempukuji...
the site in English however gives details on the temple's EXACT
location and phone number

when you have other important keywords use them to confirm whatever
you find...what if there are other temples with similar names in
Tokyo? etc etc etc
