NHK Shinsengumi 2006!!!

From Michael Reid our Shinsengumi film guru---
NHK'S Shogetsu special is an 4 hour sequel to the Shinsengumi taiga
drama it will cover all the surviving members through Ueno ,Aizu
Wakamatsu and Goryokaku ,all the same cast members will return (except
the dead ones )Koji Yamamoto ,Odagiri Jo ,Shohei and the rest. Koki
Mitani is the writer again it will air on 1/3/06 and 1/7/06 .

If anyone can give us a bit of a translation of the NHK page it would be
most appreciated.

What a nice thing to wake up to in the morning. LOL! Well it was
bound to happen considering how popular NHK Shinsengumi is in Japan.
Now I just have one question, at one point I had read somewhere
probably here or one of the other journals that there was a planned
sequel and it was to cover Hijikata-san (Kouji) at Goryokaku, I
wonder if that's still in the works or was that just a rumor?

Now I can't wait for this special I must see Jo in a police uniform.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!! And of course the others too...

I think this upcoming program will be that. The Hijikata stuff will be part of the larger "what happened after" plot rather than its own entity.

Anyone want to bet Miki Suzuki still gets no mention or screentime this time around either.
