Hi everyone,

I've been a member of this group for over six months,
and I just had to give you all my thanks!
I've been working on a pet Shinsengumi project for a
while now, and the information here has been
invaluable. I can't really contribute much to the
group since my knowledge in this area is really
limited compared to everyone else here, but I just had
to say how grateful I am. :)

My sister and I watched the "Samurai X: Trust &
Betrayal" OVA sometime last year, and afterwards we
got to talking about it. I mentioned that a lot of the
story is based on historical fact, and I told her a
little of what I knew about the Shinsengumi. She
suggested I write and draw a small doujinshi on them,
so I started doing some more research on the group.

With PMK and last year's Taiga drama, its a sort of
been-there-done-that idea to write another account of
the Shinsengumi, but I'm still chugging along at it.
:) I can gather my character designs together and post
them for critique; I would love to get everyone's
input.

Many people have done fictional accounts of the Shinsengumi be it film
or tv or manga/book but yous will be unique because only you can tell a
story your way!. Go for it and please share! Have you checked out our
other yahoogroup SHQ_Spy_Division? that's for r posting of art and
stories etc.
