A very popular Japanese TV quiz show called, "Sekai Fushigi
Hakken"(Discovering the mysteries of the world) will feature Aizu colony in California in the
next episode which will be aired 8 January.
According to the official site of the show,

they'll talk about Schenel and Aizu people settled in US after Boshin war,
especially young Japanese girl Okei.
I remember sec mentioned about a team of Japanese TV coming to report about
Aizu colony in California a while back.
Of course, I'll see the show hoping share more info.
