Fact or Fiction

While discussing the finer points of Yashima Norito's portrayal of
Takeda Kanryuusai :-) Sec and I were wondering if there was any truth
to the scene where the Ishin return to the Masuya warehouse/store to
retrieve their hidden weapons.

Has anyone come across reference to this incident?

My understanding is that they did. I've read that several times in different
places. Probably it's true? But if so, it does make you wonder why a better
guard wasn't set on those things!
