(very often the martial arts dimension of the Shinsengumi is
overlooked so I am thrilled that such a work is now available).
Tama gave me the webpage for registering for hino-shinsengumi.com's
membership/newsletter however the form required an address in Japan.
At first I thought the newsletter was via email. From what I can tell
the newsletter seems free. If INDEED the newsletter is *free* of
charge I would like to recommend anyone who is living or WILL live in
Japan for a time to try subscribing. Also I did email Shimada Kai at
hino-shinsengumi but got no reply (basically I just wanted to make
friends with these wonderful and enthusiastic people).
