okay... so miburo.com is gone and now also the mailing list in yahoo
for miburo... Just wanted to let everyone know (although I have a
feeling you know already), since we had files there and such...

Eh.. unfortunately... I tried doing that a few days ago and yesterday
after I found out the ML miburo is gone... It is not available...
*sigh*. I think though miburo.org is available and I think more
proper since I tend to think of .org as for public service oriented
sites...

And to update on Shinsengumi.com, none is available on
either .com, .org, .net... All the others are not cool IMHO.

As for the files/photos, it's too bad. Sorry I made the connection
between miburo.com and ML miburo disappearing too late... Although I
wish the owner would've let us know at least...

Can someone PLEASE keep checking with any domain company to see when
miburo.com is available for purchase? Please let me know I would be
happy to pay for the domain and make it a property of our network so
the domain can direct people to our little network.

very easy to do - all you need to do is go to yahoo or msn and try to register with them
miburo.com is still registered. However the other derivatives are available.

Yes I understand but all websites in English dealing with RK use the
http://www.miburo.com address...and if we can own [that] address then
we can use the *popularity* of the address to our advantage

well technically, using WHOIS, I found out that the domain expired in August:

Domain Name: MIBURO.COM Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, LLC. Whois Server: whois.networksolutions.com Referral URL: http://www.networksolutions.com Name Server: NS1.DAI9.NET Name Server: NS2.DAI9.NET Status: REDEMPTIONPERIOD Updated Date: 13-sep-2004 Creation Date: 06-aug-1999 Expiration Date: 06-aug-2004

Networksolutions will have to release the domain name.

i should add that you can go ahead and try to reserve it by going to networksolutions site and attempting to 'backorder'.

It is showing that it is in 'redemption phase', meaning I believe that they are waiting to see if the current owner still wants it.
