Shinsengumi Calendar

by chibi_aiko2000

Woo-hoo! Call me crazy, but I'm putting together a Shinsengumi
calendar with Shinsengumi-related things like the Ikedaya Inn and
birthdays and stuff. Anyone want to help? This is what I have so
far:

- Shinsengumi Calendar -

January 1: Saito Hajime
September 9, 1834: Kondo Isami
May 5, 1835: Hijikata Toshizo
June 1: Okita Souji
June 14, 1864: Ikeda Inn Affair

That's all I have for now. (insert Megumi laugh) More will come.
*nods head vigorously* I'm even looking at Japanese sites to get
some dates and stuff. (hey, if you know the kanji for numbers, and
months, and days and stuff, you can find nearly anything...)

Re: Shinsengumi Calendar

by akayama_kaoru

Thank you very much! I'm not so good at figuring out emperor years
(sweatdrop). I'll have to add that stuff to my list, and I wonder
if those Japanese sites have any other dates... I can't believe I
could never find Okita's birthday before, and now I see it in many
places. (sigh) I'm so happy.

Now, I need to figure out how wordperfect can make its calendar
project an image or something like that. I'll find a way, and then
it shall be completed. Thank you so very much to everybody!

I don't *think* I see this listed in M's list, and I *always* stick up for my Sekihoutai guys. :-D

July 12, 1837 (Tenpo 8) --- Suzuki Mikisaborou (Captain of the 9th Squad, Captain of Sekihoutai 2nd patrol) born
July 11, 1919 (Taisho 8) --- Suzuki dies

October 20, 1828 (Fumimasa?11) --- Shinohara Tainoshin/Taisuke (was a jujutsu instructor in the Shinsengumi, later Sekihoutai member) born
June 13, 1911 (Meiji 44) --- Shinohara dies.

Also, the death date for Saitou Hajime is September 28, 1915 (Taisho 4)
